What is Leadership Fayette?

Leadership Fayette is an immersive, transformational learning experience in a cohort setting that features monthly interactive workshops with regional business/industry leaders. These day-long, monthly experiences will be held in the Fayette County business/industry locations with a facility tour and interaction with managers as part of the agenda

Time Line

The program begins in September of 2026 and continues until May of 2027.  Topics will include leadership styles/strengths, ethics, networking, branding, leading/adapting to change, corporate culture, and local government.

Cohort membership will be limited to only 20 participants. Limit of two applications per business. Applications are due July 17, with accepted participants notified by August 21. Due to high interest, acceptance into the program is not guaranteed.

Personal Leadership Development Features

  • The program’s facilitator leads collaborative sessions using real business, industry, and community situations, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Sessions are included to provide cohort participants networking opportunities with leaders and community business/industry members.
  • A diverse cohort enhances understanding of differing perspectives and problem-solving techniques.
  • CEU Credits will be awarded to participants completing the program.
